AetherBlocks is committed to preventing the use of its platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illicit activity. This AML/KYC Policy applies to all users and outlines our obligations and procedures for compliance with applicable anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
Identity verification may be required for any user, particularly before large withdrawals or upon detection of suspicious activity. The KYC process involves:
KYC decisions are processed within 5-15 minutes of submission. Our team reviews each submission for authenticity. You will receive email updates at each stage of the process.
Submitting forged, altered, or fraudulent identity documents constitutes a criminal offense and will result in immediate account termination, reporting to relevant authorities, and potential legal action.
AetherBlocks maintains a risk-based AML program that includes:
All transactions on AetherBlocks are monitored for unusual patterns, including but not limited to: unusually large deposits, rapid succession of deposits and withdrawals, transactions inconsistent with user profile, and patterns suggesting structuring or layering of funds.
Accounts flagged by our monitoring systems may be subjected to: additional verification requirements, temporary transaction holds, account review and investigation, and in serious cases, permanent termination with fund forfeiture.
AetherBlocks does not provide services to individuals or entities subject to international sanctions, including OFAC, UN Security Council, European Union, or other applicable sanctions lists. Users must not be nationals of, or based in, countries subject to comprehensive sanctions.
AetherBlocks will report suspicious activity to appropriate authorities as required by applicable law. This may occur without prior notice to the user. Tipping off users about ongoing investigations is strictly prohibited by law.
If we determine an account is being used for money laundering or other illegal purposes, all funds may be frozen or confiscated and reported to law enforcement authorities without notice.
